Bluer than blue. The sky was beautiful that afternoon. Just the perfect shade of aqua marine. Lavender-tinted optics turned upwards towards the sun, she sat down on a small porch in the Hyuuga Area. The sun shone bright that day. Although it was only spring, the sun seemed to give the land hope of the arrival of summer. What a beautiful day. Taking a sip of the tea she had with her, the Hyuuga heiress smiled contently. Perfection.
Was there such a thing? Was there a possibility of anything ever achieving perfection? Why was there such a word as "perfection" to begin with? No one could use it in the correct context. It shouldn't have really had too much of an existence in the human vocabulary, being that nothing and no one is perfect, yet, it was a word that one frequently hears. It was a shame, in fact, that so many people were too arrogant to even realize that there was no such thing as perfection. But why think of that now? The afternoon sun was bright and seemed as if it were glazed in the happiness of the ages and served with a glitter of hope for the future, giving it the perfect shade of yellowish orange.
Her lips relaxing into a soft smile, she took another small sip of the tea. Her finger traced the rim of the small porcelain cup. Even in a beautiful cup such as this, there was a small chip. She sighed, putting the cup back against her lips once more. The steamy hot liquid had a flavorful taste and it soothed the throat with it's heat. Why was she thinking about perfection so much today, anyway? It was a foolish thing to think of while trying to relax.
She placed the teacup next to her. Leaning backwards, Hinata used her arms as props for the rest of her body. There were small fluffy white clouds. She wasn't usually one to look at clouds. Cloud-gazing was more of something that Shikamaru would do. She didn't know him well, but she would always hear him talking about how lazy Shikamaru was. He wouldn't be saying that to her, of course, but his voice was very loud. Taking in a deep breath, a sigh escaped, mixing with her saying, "Naruto-kun..." softly to herself. Her skin took on a light shade of pink. Blinking quickly, she jumped.
What was that hot feeling she had? It wasn't the usual feeling she got when she thought about Naruto-kun... it was more of a burning... She quickly turned her attention to the porcelain tea cup. Now laying down on it's side, the open part of the cup facing her, it had drained itself of all it's liquid. She had just spilled all of her tea on her lap. She stood up, trying to wipe it off. She then sighed, walking inside her home. Time to put on a new pair of pants, and then wash the ones she had spilled tea on.
