Roleplaying for about one year, I started in March of 2007. At first, I thought it was just a game and that it was pretty fun. Then later on when I started to roleplay I really got into it and found out it is pretty serious. When I started out, I always had these one-liner posts all over the place. It was pretty funny, looking back at those days now. From then on, I learned that roleplaying was not just a game but more as a...Sport, to me that is.
After getting used to roleplaying for a few months or so, I started to see my improvement from day on. Giving an average of at least 150 words to around 200 then, I can say that I did indeed improve from those one liners. I was not thinking when I made my first forum ( a modern naruto board ) that it was pretty time-comsuming to make it a good forum. I was still a beginner then, I needed help from a few friends. After that well...Things kinda jump started.
Through my experience, I have learned to do graphics, html coding and ubbc coding. Thinking that things like that were hard at first, I got better and better and then well...Its just fun. I have alot of good times with my friends who I have met over roleplaying and they are just alot of fun. I gain more friends when I roleplay than what I do in everyday life; sitting around and doing nothing but reading manga during class or ont he computor at home.
And on a last note, my posts now range from about 200 words to about 500...And on my good days, 1000+ =D

Sai is a pretty fun character to play, in my opinion. Because no one knows much about him until Kishimoto-sama revealed just a bit of Sai's post in the manga, he is seen as a humorous character. I love art, so when I see a character in the series (such as Deidara) I fall for them because they love art as much as I do. Art is not only a style, it is somehow part of me. I cannot go a day without having to draw something, from a simple doodle or a really bad stick figure. I believe Sai is the same way as well. I think if Sai were to see something, he would have drawn it immediately. That is what I am like, I find that as a very good connection.
Also, Sai once had a brother that we do not know much about besides the fact that he died of an illness. Sai had started a book with his brother at a young age while training in Root Anbu under the command of Danzo. While training, both Sai and his brother had said that they wanted to become great shinobi. As a present, Sai had started half of a book for his brother. While trying to finish, Sai had later become the emotionless 'Root' Anbu member that had become Uchiha Sasuke's replacement in Team Kakashi. After having to help Sakura and Naruto save Sasuke, Sai regains a feeling that he had let go years ago while in Root Anbu.
Friendship.
I think friendship is important, and I like how Kishimoto has developed Sai's emotions since his appearence. I believe Sai may be of more help to Naruto and Sakura later. And now that Sai has become closer to Naruto and Sakura, I believe that Sai would help them with their goal of bringing back Uchiha Sasuke.
Well, not on this forum but you know what I man. =D

That kinda concludes of why I like Sai and stuff like that....x.x

"...What is a good name for this painting...?"
Sai looked at his painting for a moment, obsidian eyes glazed over the canvas that was covered with dark blues and greens. He was trying so hard to think of a name, ever since his captain had suggested (or rather, commanded) that the man of eightteen to come up with names for his paintings. It was not the fact that it was hard to think up names for his own art, but Sai had never been so accustommed to pick or choose names for his paintings. He thought it would have been better if they were nameless.
But then the paintings would really have no meaning if they were nameless. An artist put all feelings into a single picture, a name that suited the painting would have shown all the emotion and effort that the artist put into the picture. But Sai was different; he did not care that his art had no name. He had no name, Sai was merely a codename in Anbu. It was what he went by, and he had not cared. Whether they changed his name or take his codename away, he payed no attention to it.
...How about...Starlight?
The Root Anbu looked at his painting again, it had a rather dark background. Using plenty of green and blue shades and then mixing them, it created a hazy scenary. But above the horizon line, where small specks of white. There were a few streaks of the pure color, and it reminded Sai of stars. Was he thinking stars while painting this? Unsure, Sai took another moment. Thinking to himself, Sai took a small breath and smiled faintly.
The name was decided, and just a bit later would he tell Yamato of his new painting. "Yamato-taichou, I have finished my painting. I had thought of a name and everything, would you like to see?"
Sai thought of what he could say to his captain, but for now the artist had looked around. Paints, brushes, and canvases were everywhere. Sighing to himself, the artist stood up from his chair. Cleaning was in order, the obsidian eyed artist packed up his canvases and placed the paint jars into a cabinet in his room.
