past experiences. ?
I've been role-playing for Ino since the beginning of August-- Shippuden Ino, mostly. But I've had experiences with various plots, and such. Although I'm not a very big fan of them, I think I have the imagination to come up for ideas with a character I know so well by now.

The sounds of the busy lodge-town gurgled faintly through the filter of the thick walls of the Women's Shelter. Ino listened attentively to the lady speaking to her and Shikamaru-- almost like she was excited to be on a charity mission! She figured her enthusiasm showed in her features, as her teammate sent questioning looks toward her way. Shikamaru looked so much more different now, as opposed to the times they spent together on these sort of missions all of the time. It wasn't just his height, or even his face or hair. She felt an odd sort of maturity when she was spending time with him... when Ino stole a brief glance at him, and saw the non-chalant expression boring into his face, she remembered the same old Shikamaru she was thinking of. lazy, and bored. And close to being lectured.
Ino resisted the urge for her mind to wander, as the lady, whom had either forgotten to introduce herself or Ino had been more absent than she thought, finished off her speech. The minute-- no, the second!-- the lady had announced herself finished, Ino ambled off to go do something. She decided to straighten a few picture-frames askew on the wall. Knowing how incredibly bored her teammate would be, she called over her shoulder, "Hey, at least we can actually relax this mission!" She reasoned, smiling. Ino paused her work and scanned the room. "Where's Chouji?" Ino called out, walking over to Shikamaru. She nudged Shikamaru on his arm, and peered through the window.
Ino set down a framed painting of a scene of a child running around a front-yard of a home, and a mother chasing him. Certain parts of the picture had dried drips of paint, so Ino guessed that one of the residents had painted it themselves. "Do you think he got lost on the way?" She inquired. Ino opened the door slightly and peered out the crack of the door. She examined the people passing by, searching for her teammate. Ino shut the door behind her and returned to the table by the wall she was fixing. "Oh, he'll find his way," she decided, completely disregarding the subject.
Walking back to the wall, she realized how hideous the shelter was. THe walls were a shade of cream, and the chair-railing underneath had vertical wood-panelling. A few of the panels were peeling off, or the missing ones' spots were replaced with a strip of wax paper. The hardwood floors seemed to be a lighter shade than the rest of the wood in the room, including the round tables a few ladies were seated at playing cards. A few recliners were huddled around the rug on the right side of the room. Ino touched one of the curtains, and pushed it away in disdain. "Somebody didn't do a very good job on these!" She commented aloud. She seemed to be oblivious to the lady at the front desk, glaring at her.
Ino sauntered over to Shikamaru and nudged his arm again. "Shikamaru!" She yelled, annoyed. "What's the matter with you? you can't just sit around here!" Ino said in her last attempt for him to actually do something. She noticed a few women playing a card game, and walked over taking a jug of water to them. "Water?" The ladies looked at her for a minute, and one said, "Can you play cards?" She asked grunting. Ino began to stutter, as soon as another took hold of her arm and pushed out a chair for her. "Sit down! We need one more player for a set," the other ladies had the same expression on their faces; plain, and stone-still. Ino didn't have a clue of what they were playing, but shrunk in her seat and smiled weakly.
As one of them began to deal out some cards, Ino flickered her toward the window. She still didn't see any sign of Chouji. "Hey! I asked you what your name was!" Ino gazed back to the women who were all eying her. "Yamanaka Ino, from Konoha." She answered. "Haruka," she said pointing to herself. "Sayuri, Sumiko, and Juri," she indicated the others seated at the table. The women put down some of their money on the table, and held their cards up in front of their face. "Blondie," Haruka started. "Put something on the table." Ino quicklly dropped down a few coins she had and remembered the lady saying something about the restriction of gambling at the shelter. Ino chose to ignore her sentiments-- she wasn't quite sure if she was hearing her correctly.. and she wasn't in the mood to pick a fight with a group of elderly women.
