What luck the heavens had graced her with! There Konan had been, standing silently (and rather miserably) under the shelter of her tightly woven kasa while the normal downpour of Ame was conspiring. Then, almost with a suprising halt, the water of the skies and the flashing of lightning ceased. Of course, there were still the massive and threatening clouds sliding over the town.[/size]
Konan stood silently on the outskirts of Ame. Her charcoal robe would have made her unnoticeable against the landscape had it not been for those deep clouds outlined by a radient silver. The ribbons hanging from the brim of her kasa covered the only part of her not already cloaked in her robe; her face. But, there was a small break in the things at her center, allowing her a brief view of her surroundings. Wind jingled the bells strung on a small cord at her left.
The Paper Angel of Ame seemed to have a sudden apiphany. He comes she thought with blunt collectiveness and lack of emotions. Though anyone rather gifted at reading one's emotions could see a slight spring in her all of a sudden. Without warning, Konan seemed to dissolve into hundreds of pieces of paper. The beige parchment tossed on a wind that was not there. This 'flock' soared through the heavens for a time until they halted and began to swirl in a tight whirlwind. Eventually, the cyclone halted and Konan stood once more, as the few last pieces of parchment slipped inside her sleeve and seemed to melt into her arm.
They should be here soon.........
